The Dream To Do Things Better
Flooring Innovations is a privately owned company started in October 2003, by Bill Nicholson. He opened his flagship store in July 2004. Bill worked within the flooring industry at Dupont as Director of Retail Marketing and Store Planning for 10 years. During that time, Bill helped to create the concept of the DuPont and then Stainmaster Flooring Centers. He then set out travelling the country, working with the top flooring retailers, converting carefully selected flooring stores into flagship Flooring Centers. During all of his travels, Bill picked up a tremendous amount of knowledge about the nuances of the flooring industry from his newly found dealer friends. With the support of these friends from around the country and friends within Stainmaster, Bill decided to open his own Flooring Center within the Coachella Valley.
